Privacy Policy

Who is responsible

DrainLab (drainlab.app) is an independent project based in Brazil. For any privacy matter, write to [email protected].

What we do not collect

DrainLab has no sign-up, login or forms. We never ask for your name, email, phone number or documents. We only receive personal data if you email us.

Camera, microphone, keyboard, mouse and screen

The tests run entirely in your browser. Camera images, microphone audio, keystrokes, mouse movements and battery readings are processed on your device and are never sent to DrainLab servers or third parties.

The 10-second microphone recording stays only in the tab’s memory and is deleted when you close or reload the page. The webcam photo is only saved if you click "Take photo", directly to your computer.

Camera and microphone access only happens after you allow it in the browser, and you can revoke it at any time in the site settings.

Local storage

Some preferences and results are saved in your browser’s local storage (localStorage), such as the battery test history, your chosen language and the numeric keypad option. This data never leaves your device. To delete it, clear the site data in your browser settings.

Cookies and ads (Google AdSense)

DrainLab shows ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. Google’s advertising cookies enable it and its partners to serve ads based on those visits.

You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings and learn about other vendors and how to opt out of their cookies at www.aboutads.info. Learn how Google uses data from partner sites.

Visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland see a Google consent message before personalized advertising cookies are used.

Technical access data

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which may log technical data for each visit, such as IP address, browser and date, for security and performance. These logs are not used to identify you.

Your rights (GDPR and LGPD)

Under the GDPR for EU residents and Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD), you can request access to, correction of or deletion of any personal data we hold about you, as well as information about how it is used. Send your request to [email protected].

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the site adds new tools or changes how it handles data. The date of the last update is always shown at the top of this page.
